Directions from M62
There are three junctions signposted to Huddersfield on the M62. We suggest that you exit the M62 at junction 25 as this is the easiest to find us from. Take A644 towards Huddersfield and follow this road for approximately 1 mile. At the roundabout take the second exit - A62 Leeds Road. Proceed along the A62 towards Huddersfield following signs for the John Smith’s stadium. After approximately 2.5 miles you will pass the Leeds road retail park on your left. Continue along the A62. At the next set of lights turn left onto Southgate. Staying in the middle lane follow the signs for the University. You will pass Sainsbury’s on your left, at which point you will need to keep right at the fork and go straight across the roundabout, following signs for the ring road. Please consider car parking in advance so you can plan your journey more efficiently.
The University is a 10-minute walk from Huddersfield train station.

Once you come out of the railway station walk straight across the square. At the end of the square turn right onto John William Street and walk straight ahead until you come to the pedestrian crossing at the Lloyds/TSB bank ahead of you. Continue straight ahead on the crossing to New Street (Nat West bank will be on your right). Turn left onto King Street and continue straight. Turn right onto Queen Street and walk along the pavement passing Lawrence Batley Theatre on your left. Continue to the end of the road and cross using the pedestrian crossing. Continue straight ahead and you will see the University entrance.

Alternatively, you can use the Huddersfield free town bus that passes by the bus and train stations and stops near the University's main entrance.
